PQL query to select input stream variable

Post by kauerbach » Mon Sep 15, 2014 7:34 pm

Hello,

I have the PQL source query below and would like to see the chart against time of the 'value' attribute that has data type 'double'. How would I create a PQL query to do this?

--------
#PARSER PQL
#QUERY
input := ACCESS({
source='Source',
wrapper='GenericPush',
transport='NonBlockingTcp',
protocol='CSV',
dataHandler='Tuple',
options=[
['delimiter','\t'],
['readfirstline','false'],
['host','arvi.mgh.harvard.edu'],
['port','1194'],
['logininfo','DOMAINID=15\\nTOPIC=Numeric\\nSTART\\n']],
schema=[
['keyStr','String'],
['topic','String'],
['metricStr','String'],
['instance','String'],
['value','Double'],
['value2','String']]
})

----------------------------

Thank you.
Regards,
Ken Auerbach.

The simpliest form is:
#PARSER PQL
#ADDQUERY
out = input
Then do a right click on that query in query view and select Show Chart.

I created a new tutorial for this:
