Running Odysseus from windows cmd

Post by sergewarde » Tue May 03, 2016 10:17 am

Hello everyone,

For my work, I’m using Odysseus to extract a csv from a Mosaik simulation.

Right now, I’m managing to do this by manually starting the script on Odysseus before launching the Mosaik sim. (Then I take the csv output and use it on R to analyze the results.) I’m trying now to create a chain that would do all this automatically.

I would like to know if there’s a way to command Odysseus from the windows cmd line. In other words, I want to use the windows cmd to tell Odysseus to execute a script. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Hi Serge,

we had this idea some times ago, but currently, there is no easy way to access Odysseus from outside. What you can do, if the query is always the same: You can use the autostart feature of Odysseus and use onyl the server version of Odysseus.

Btw: What kind of R analysis do you do? Maybe some processing can be done by Odysseus?
