How to add GIT Plugin into Studio

is it possible to add a GIT plugin to Studio (EGitt)?

Well, it's an Eclipse product, so yes it should be possible. Actually you can also copy all features/bundles into an existing Eclipse installation. (at least in theory it should work but I've never tested it before).

Yes its possible but you need to determine other required plugins that are not part of the core that Odysseus needs.

Odysseus is based on

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo

so further plugins need to be installed from here.

When you have a working solution, it would be great if you could post it here :-)

installation of latest EGit has been running without problems.
Will post a comment, after evaluation of the plugin functionality.

Verified that EGit "works".

Tested the following commands:

git commit
git add
git push
git pull

There's no reason to not assumefull Egit functionality to be there.

Thank you for your response. Glad to see that other (external) plugins also work with Odysseus Studio :D
